We are the manufacturers of Falkland Fisher Fast Fishing Boats .
With a unique Hull concept ,it gives an exhilarating ride when on the plane and an excellent stable platform when at anchor.
The Boat came into being due to local demand for a trailerable dinghy big enough for four anglers yet small enough to easily launch and retrieve by one angler.This has been made possible because GGF have liased with a leading trailer manufacturer who have created a
" Falkland Fisher Roller Coaster Easy Launch Trailer ".
The Boat has superb handling and lateral stability and with speeds attained of over 34 knots with a 50hp outboard fitted ,it has a real turn of speed to get out to fishing marks or into shore quickly !
The Falkland Fisher Mk 2 has some surprisingly innovative features which come as standard !
Polycarbonate windows ,in bronze,are bolted over the GRP to prevent waves pushing them in,this is a standard feature on all Falkland Fishers . A quality Houdini Window is also a standard feature which gives access to the self draining anchor locker .
The Falkland Fisher MK2 has many improved safety features compared to the MK1, including a raised cuddy and increased freeboard all round.There are new internal mouldings and increased buoyancy .
The built in anchor locker is massive ! Ideal for keeping warp / anchor etc out of the way and off the main deck or seating area . This is also self draining .Quality stainless steel heavy duty bow roller and
5" sampson post also come as standard .
There 's plenty of head room in the Falkland Fisher Mk 2 which incorporates a cuddy big enough to sit in and escape the elements .

For a 16ft fast fishing boat , there really is loads of room
for up to four anglers . A fixed fuel tank option can easily be incorporated at manufacture, underneath the floor .
A rear moulded seat is another option available. This is easily removed in minutes for increased fishing space and re- fitted for travelling to and from fishing marks.
A purpose built locker is fitted into the steering console to accommodate mobile phone's ,
keys, money etc .This is removable .
Lockable , watertight stowage lockers are fitted port & starboard sides into the bunkboxes and also the steering console . This gives loads of dry storage space - essential on any boat this size .Under the swivel helmsman seat , another open stowage area is built in .
The mk2 Falkland Fisher incorporates quality stainless steel rear sampson posts 4" instead of conventional cleats . This makes life far easier when securing ropes / fenders etc ,
and really do look the part !
A non slip floor finished in dark grey gel coat is a hard wearing standard feature
that is essential in a fishing boat .
' Autodrainers ' are located at three points on the transom . A 3" sea scupper in the centre ,
flanked by two off 1" scuppers really do work and are built to last .
Clearly superior by design , the auto drainers automatically bale then seal with a solid polythene ball and PVC seal .State of the art non-corrosive materials ensure they will provide many years of dependable protection .
All Boats are built using the very latest hi-tech materials which are all Lloyds approved .The Boat is built incorporating a hard wood keel , ideal if a keel band is reqd . Buoyancy is present throughout , rendering the vessel virtually unsinkable . The steering console has a spacious feel to it with plenty of room for electronics to be fitted .The steering position is perfect for standing or sitting .It's your choice !
The floor area incorporates an underfloor foam sandwich between two laminated skins sitting above a series of interlinking air chambers . The bow also has buoyancy built in which increases strength and suppresses wave slap noise at anchor .
A standard portable fuel tank can be located in a purpose built hold below the engine well or incorporated under the floor as a fixed tank option.There's plenty of room for a bilge pump if reqd .There is adequate room for batteries to be fitted adjacent to the portable fuel tank in separate compartments at the stern ( for safety ) .
